As some of you know, my husband is into woodworking. He has his own website- Bingaman Woodcrafts- there is a link under my blog posts. I have shared his napkin holder (front left) before. With the same wood combo- maple and walnut he has made a (from the left) a cutting board, a recipe deluxe stand, and a wine rack. What a great gift idea!!! I could totally see this as a wedding gift!! He has another set in the works with cherry and walnut.
My husband does woodworking on the side. He mainly has been making recipe stands- see www.bingamanwoodcrafts.com. But he got this wood magazine and saw this napkin holder in it. He had some scraps of wood laying around and thought he'd try it! It is made from Maple and Walnut. The center bar rasies to hold your napkins down. It is really quite striking in person!!
