February Stamp Club

These were our projects for the February Stamp Club.  My ladies (my boys always say I "ladies" coming to stamp)  are so enjoying themselves, we have decided to continue!!  Yay!!!  I had 3 cards planned, but you know me- I needed something 3D!!!  All three cards are CASES- thank you for the inspiration, folks!!  The bottom picture was the 3D- I took the Petal Card die, used the SAB Good Neighbor DSP and made the most adorable candy holders!!!  That was the easy part!!!

MUST, MUST, MUST haves from the Occassions Mini:

* Butterfly Embosslit

* Scalloped Heart Embosslit

* Satin ribbon- REALLY good quality ribbon and easy to tie!

*  Polka Dot Embossing folder

* Well Scripted Stamp Set

* Sweet Pea Felt Flowers

Once you get these items, you can work on the other stuff!!!  LOVING this mini!!!

January Stamp Club

Hello- did you think I had fallen off the face of the Earth??  I haven't, just have been REALLY REALLY busy this month- hence January's Stamp Club when it's the beginning of the last week of February!!!  You see, I agreed to do/chair a few things this fall.  I thought it was great then, but they all happened in February- yikes!!!  Plus, I have a slight Facebook problem.....darn farm.

So, in January at my Stamp Club we did 2 cards and a milk carton.  Both cards were CASE'D from ones I saw on SCS- just don't know who did them first!  Some things I can't live without!!!  The Polka Dot embossing folder- HELLO!!!  Well Scripted Stamp Set- HELLO!!  The Loves Me DSP from the mini- HELLO!!  The milk carton die is smaller then I thought at first, but it will hold a butt load of Red Hots!!! 

 
  

HALLOWEEN HOOP-LA day 17

This was another Stamp Club project.  A single test tube holder.  Directions can be found at

September Stamp Club- #3

The last project we did at Stamp Club was a Triangle Box.  I love these things!  They are my "go to" project!!  These are so easy!!!  This is a picture of 5 different sizes I made to show the difference with just different size papers.  We just made the one in the middle.

Triangle Box directions:

1- take a sheet of 4 x 8 CS- from the left- 2 x 4, 3 x 6, 4 x 8, 5 x 10, 6 x 12

2- on the long side, score a line down the middle so you can fold the CS in half

3- flip to the short side, make a small mark at the top.  Then make a triangle from that mark to the outside score line at the middle of the page.  Flip it around and do the same thing again.

4- fold on all the score lines- you will make a triangle box.

5- punch holes on either side of the triangles.  Put a ribbon through the holes to tie the box up.

6- no adhesive is needed- the ribbon will keep it closed.

Supplies- Soft Suede CS; Soft Suede ink; Soft Suede polka dot ribbon; Fifth Avenue Florals stamp set.

September Stamp Club- #2

This is our 2nd project from Stamp Club.  At each club I want to introduce a new technique- this month was "thumping." 

Thumping is when you ink up a stamp with a lighter ink.  Then you take the brush end of a darker marker (or 2) and "thump" (or hit, bounce) it along the edges.  You get a shadow effect.

Supplies- Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango, and Confetti White CS; Upsy Daisy stamp set, Crushed Curry and Soft Suede ink; Dusty Durango and Soft Suede markers; Crushed Curry and Dusty Durango polka dot ribbon; Razzleberry Lemonade DSP.

September Stamp Club- #1

I had my first stamp club this week.  I have been a demonstrator for going on 6 years and this is my first club!!  I am so excited- I have 5 great ladies!!!  Whoo hoo!!!!  I wanted to go easy on them this month so as not to scare anyone...... 

The first project we did was a dress card because I love them!!!  We used Melon Mambo CS and Razzleberry Lemonade DSP with Rich Razzleberry polka dot ribbon as the halter and belt.  On the background we used a SU embossing folder- can you see it?  The greeting is Sincere Salutations stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink.  The scallop punch and some sponging finished the card off.
