Halloween Preview

Ryan had a Halloween party to go to on Saturday, so I took the opportunity to snap a picture!!!  This was the first time Bryson had tried on his costume, he kept telling us it wasn't Halloween yet........yes, but for what we spent on it, we want him to wear it A LOT!!!  The front of Wall-E is actually a pocket for candy.  Ryan has a light saber and voice box for the actual night.

Just an interesting note here- do you know what this post was??  Well, besides HALLOWEEN HOOP-LA day 20???  It is my 200th post!!  Wow- I've had this blog for 13 months and I've posted 200 times............I guess I think I have a lot to share......  Maybe there will be some blog candy in the coming days????

Pumpkin Pillow Basket

This is a basket made with 3 Pillow Boxes from the Big Shot.  These have been all the rage over at www.splitcoaststampers.com.  The directions are under "resources" over there.  Of course, after I got the bottom in mine, I noticed it was upside down......  I am excited to make more of these- I see visions of snowmen baskets dancing in my head!!

Public Service Announcement HALLOWEEN HOOP-LA is coming to an end very shortly!  But, don't be sad- starting November 1, 2009- Holiday Hoop-la will begin!!!!!

Is this Halloween?  I hear you ask.....  WELL- see that little strip of DSP???  Well, it's from the Cast-a-Spell "Halloween" DSP!!!  See, you *don't* have to use that paper with just Halloween things!!!!

Supplies- Old Olive, Basic Black, and Whisper White CS.  Cast-a-Spell DSP.  Medallion and Smarty Pants stamp sets.  Old Olive and Basic Black ink.  Vintage brads.  Old Olive 1/4" grosgrain ribbon.

Halloween Candle.  

This was one of my stamp club projects.

Supplies- Cast-a-Spell DSP.  Pumpkin Pie ink and ribbon.  From the Crypt stamp set.  Eggplant ric-rac ribbon.

See how the design on the candle matches the candy jar??  I am so good!!!

This is one of Lauren Meader's Timeless Templates- Tucked Away- (yes, I can tell you this, I just can't post a LINK to how you can buy yourself one- that is what the new IDA said I COULDN'T do.) the small size.

Supplies- Old Oive, Basic Black, Whisper White CS. Cast-a-Spell DSP. White gel pen. Real Red Marker.  Scallop, 1 3/8", 1/2" circle punches.

What does one put into this box????

Chocolate eyeballs- of course!!!!  It is so cute IRL!!!!
