I held a BIG Big Shot class the week before last. We did 4 projects using the XL dies for the Big Shot- these dies are SO much fun!!! This is one project we did- we used the Matchbox bottom to make this adorable box!!! I also ordered some Game Night DSP- hello- where have I been- love it!! I let my class participants decorate the top as they saw fit- as you can see, mine didn't quite get the "final polish"! Idea and directions from SCS.

BIG Big Shot class #1

A little family time.......
A wee bit of family pics..... My husband and 4 year old has spent the month of February playing basketball. Bryson LOVES basketball- he practices his dribbling ALL day long, starting EARLY!!!
Here is Ryan on his 7th birthday! He chose Red Lobster as his special place to eat- I love this kid!! He and I shared a HUGE feast there- YUM!!!! We also went to a hotel to swim- his choice as well!! We had a great weekend!

One more swap!!!
During the beginning of February, I went to Fort Collins, CO for a Stampin' Up! half-day regional. Part of the fun of these events is the SWAPPING!!! These are the swaps I "whipped" up to take. I made "bag tags"- I could so see using these for a welcome gift! I made 50, these are just a few I remembered to take a picture of before they were all given out!
Supplies- Big Shot Top Note die, Crushed Curry polka dot ribbon, twine, jumbo pewter eyelets, DSP paper from SAB, Good Neighbors SAB stamp set.

Club Swaps!!!
When my Stamp Club meets we have a swap, so I have Jan.'s and Feb.'s swaps to share with you.
January's swap was these tins I found at a store for $1 each! I add a Sweet Heart Cup with Red Hots, a couple of Peppermint Patties with the Scalloped Heart Embosslit, satin ribbon, punched out hearts, some fluff and I had a WOW center piece for Valentine's Day!!
The theme for February was Birthday. I CASED my card from a swap I had recieved at the Ft. Collins half day regional at the beginning of the month (more on that later!) MaryR gave me her card and I changed it just a bit- I loved the fact that it used my Bold Brights- I seriously had to dust them off- hahaha!!! Check her out- http://www.mjrindal.blogspot.com/

February Stamp Club
These were our projects for the February Stamp Club. My ladies (my boys always say I "ladies" coming to stamp) are so enjoying themselves, we have decided to continue!! Yay!!! I had 3 cards planned, but you know me- I needed something 3D!!! All three cards are CASES- thank you for the inspiration, folks!! The bottom picture was the 3D- I took the Petal Card die, used the SAB Good Neighbor DSP and made the most adorable candy holders!!! That was the easy part!!!
MUST, MUST, MUST haves from the Occassions Mini:
* Butterfly Embosslit
* Scalloped Heart Embosslit
* Satin ribbon- REALLY good quality ribbon and easy to tie!
* Polka Dot Embossing folder
* Well Scripted Stamp Set
* Sweet Pea Felt Flowers
Once you get these items, you can work on the other stuff!!! LOVING this mini!!!

January Stamp Club
Hello- did you think I had fallen off the face of the Earth?? I haven't, just have been REALLY REALLY busy this month- hence January's Stamp Club when it's the beginning of the last week of February!!! You see, I agreed to do/chair a few things this fall. I thought it was great then, but they all happened in February- yikes!!! Plus, I have a slight Facebook problem.....darn farm.
So, in January at my Stamp Club we did 2 cards and a milk carton. Both cards were CASE'D from ones I saw on SCS- just don't know who did them first! Some things I can't live without!!! The Polka Dot embossing folder- HELLO!!! Well Scripted Stamp Set- HELLO!! The Loves Me DSP from the mini- HELLO!! The milk carton die is smaller then I thought at first, but it will hold a butt load of Red Hots!!!

Sale-a-bration Examples
I joined a swap this past December for SAB sets. This is not new news, once upon a time I was a bona-fide swap junkie, but since moving to WY almost 2 years ago, I had stopped all swapping- I thought it was time to start again!
I joined a swap and in that swap had 3 groups of the SAB set- Good Neighbors. I had to get the wood mounted- did I mention that SU is doing some clear mounts?!?! This is a set that would be AWESOME in a clear mount- much more user friendly!!!
Picture 1 is using the Milk Carton die for the Big Shot that is in the Occasions mini. Picture 3 uses the border punch you can also earn for SAB plue the Dots embossing folder from the mini.
Sorry the picture quality is so bad- camera/operator issues!!!

Snowman Soup and new templates
These are some some Snowman Soups I made for a fund raiser for my Spouse's Club here on FE Warren. These went together really simply thanks to Lauren's Timeless Templates from Papertry Ink- her milk carton and holder. There are 2 packets of hot cocoa and a small baggie of the Christmas shaped marshmallows. Very cute!!! They were a hit!!! You know how I love templates.......
Details- ALL Stampin' Up!!!
Just a note of interest, Lauren Meader will not be designing any new Timeless templates for Papertrey- you can still buy all of them though. She has a new store- My Time Made Easy with all new templates.
Another more interesting note is that my friend, Leigh Ann, has started her own line of templates on her blog- Perfect Presentation- she is the one that introduced me to the joys of templates (she's the devil- hehe!).
